To make the bread rise and bake that perfect loaf, one must exercise patience, timing and methods of getting it there.
3 steps bread poofing:
Let’s take a simple bread making process (being very generic here )
First, proofing the yeast, submerging them in warm water.
Then, MIXING: put in all your ingredients including the proofed yeast and let it set.
Step 1: Ferment the bread in bulk (bulk fermentation) and folding: evenly mix and distribute the yeast and sugar warm inside the dough. When the bread is rising and getting bigger (Leavened), it is fun to watch and this is where you would know if the process is working. Doing this step right is very essential especially for the taste and achieving a great leavened loaf.
Step 2: Next comes shaping and reshaping: fold and fold again into the final shape to be transferred to a proofing container or basket.
Step 3: Final proofing is all we got left while the dough is in the container which you are going to bake it in. The dough rises continuously to at least double its size.
Have fun, these are the steps, not very complicated, but the process of making the successful bread is the secret that you will find out!
