Stringing is an art and start fresh
First thing first, buy fresh beans if you can
We know nowadays, especially when you buy them in a package (not bulk), the green bean tends to rot easily due to more moisture in the bag. So pick and choose carefully to get good beans.
Check the bean
When it comes to stringing green beans, you must acknowledge the waste if you pull too much at the ends.
First take a look at the bean, to see if there are any parts that are going bad. If you see rotten areas then take those out as you string from the ends.
Now start stringing
When the bean looks good, you can start stringing, lifting a tiny piece from one end to the next.
Stringing as you are pulling from the end then repeat on the other end.
Pay attention not to waste: at times, it would be a habit to pull too much which ended up costing your half of the beans!
