You may have seen many peanut butter in the store packaged in plastic containers.

Some natural peanut butters are often found in glass jars.

Well, glass is far more stable and doesn’t leach into food.

In many cases, glass is preferable to different storage situations based on environment and temperature.

With the process of making peanut butter under high heat (being organic matter subject to heat and binding effect), using the stable packaging material such as glass would insure that no further bonding and reaction occurs with peanut butter and the glass package container after the packaging process.

Besides being the better choice for health, you can keep the glass jar after you have done with the peanut butter for other food storage.
