Whatmenu’s take on Healthy Meal Prep for Yogurt Diet
All those healthy foods! Have you ever wondering how your body would handle some of them? One way to find out, keeping track of how those food would affect you.
Or you could have many different set of your own issues or conditions about your health or maybe, just the way you felt after you had eaten something. Well those feelings and feedback from your body is very crucial and most of the time, it can not be ignored; our body are full of bacteria and yeast both good and bad with the probiotics: the good kinds of bacteria, in form of many foods we take; yogurts, kefir drinks and other type of such fermented food, help us establish and keep those good bacteria ( Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium ) in good shape. Why? Let’s take a look at our guts, now picture it like your prized garden; see how beautiful your garden is full of many different type of flowers and shrubs along with all sorts of animals and insects (butterflies or bees), like a well-maintained biome, you designed and nurtured but mother nature intended and grows it. Pretty soon, you will able to relax and just enjoy; let the work of your fruition runs its own course and maintaining its own eco-system. Now, take this picture and imagine this; in your guts and digestive system!?! Don’t go away and be disgusted by the thought yet! Hold on to it and think of what your gut would feel, if it has a mind of its own. Now you see!, would it appreciate what you had done for yourself; stomach and rest of your digestive system (your beautiful garden and all its path leading to it)? Wouldn’t you have guess, it would be more than happy to digest the food you ate; into your gut flora!
Whatmenu’s Fruit-bowl Yogurt Challenge
In preparing a healthy yogurt mixed with all sorts of fruits for a quick and easy meal; eating more often to stay lean and healthy. Please note, if you are allergic to any of those following ingredients, please DO NOT use this recipe.
Yogurt on this! A bowl full of fruit recipe: Yogurt & Toppings
Yogurt: great basic ingredient for this recipe.
Toppings: a banana, walnuts, strawberries (frozen or fresh: experience the difference), and others you might choose.
The making:
Simply take a spoon and scoop out a healthy helping of the yogurt on a bowl then on to the toppings; put in some frozen or freshly washed strawberries then use the spoon to slice a peeled banana and finishing up by sprinkling some walnuts (for those of you, not allergic to walnuts) and other types of fruit you might like.
With a single spoonful, holding all the toppings while it is still quite frozen (strawberries or might wanted to thaw out a bid more), holding it like; wouldn’t want to fall off when crossing a bridge/table, take a bit at a time and make sure to pulverize the food in your mouth by chewing it really good: turn it to liquid if you have the time.
Then swallow it slowly and enjoy each delicious spoonful; one after another as the same manner as above.
