Diet with a plan
It is important to eat certain types of food at certain times of the day based on your diet with your meal plan. The time to cook dinner doesn’t have to take any longer than other meals but you must plan and prepare ahead to make it go smoothly. For example: cooking a fish, defrosting fish must be done prior. It is easy to just have a single dish for dinner such as steak or other types of meat dishes. With a balanced diet which serves in complement with vegetables, it would add variety to your taste buds for your dinner meal.
Enough said, let’s get cooking
Well, talk, let cook a meal : Chicken with Bok Choy, Chicken Carrot and Onion soup, and steam white rice.
First, bring out the chicken ;thawed, this is where the prep comes in handy.
Then fill in water with a cooking pot for about 2/3 of the way to boil the chicken (or use a pressure cooker if you like).
Turn on the heat to boil the pot then get a couple of carrots and dice some onions.
When the pot of water is boiled put in the chicken, carrots and cover the lid but leaving a little gap so steam could escape; you may need to adjust the heat so the boiling water doesn’t overflow.
Next prepare and wash your bok choy, then start cooking your steam rice (wash, rinse and put in the proper amount of water and put it in your rice cooker). Finally when the chicken soup is ready: the chicken is cooked to the right temperature, you can put some of the chicken meat from the soup to mix with your bok choy to finish your Chicken with Bok Choy dish, along with your rice and chicken soup.
