Have some cabbage at hand, perhaps find some carrot to go with it.
Why not cook your cabbage with some carrot for your dinner tonight!
Cabbage is such a great vegetable to cook, especially when the cook in the right heat (low and slow).
It gives the perfect texture, based on your preference by adjusting the cooking time.
Ingredients:
cabbage
carrots
sea salt
black pepper
olive oil (from the fridge)
Let’s start
Fill a little bit of water, about 1/10 of water in a pot and start the heat at medium high.
Wash and dice and slice some cabbage and carrots respectively.
When the water boils, turn the heat immediately to medium low and put in the cabbage and the carrot then cover the lid and let it simmer for a good 10 – 15 mins or so depending on how you like your texture (for softer texture simmer longer).
Once it is done simmering, open the lid and shake some black pepper, sea salt.
Then add about 1 1/2 tsp of olive oil you took out from the fridge (cool temperature from the fridge should solidify the olive oil)
Stir fry to finish, enjoy!
