Have some Spinach at hand, fresh from the market or your garden
Why not spinach with garlic with your next dish.
Spinach is such a great vegetable to cook and don’t be fooled by its fluffiness in a bag. After you cook them it would all fit in a regular plate.
Ingredients:
spinach
garlic
spice: garlic salt, sesame oil, black pepper and white pepper
Let’s start
Fill a bit of water about 1/10 in a pot and start the heat at medium high.
Wash those spinach and make sure to toss them in the water really good to get the sands out of them.
After you have washed them a few times (the hardest part about cooking spinach), put them in the pot and cover the lid to simmer for about 2-3 mins (careful not to over cook).
While it simmer, peel and smash some garlic cloves (5 would do).
Then open the lid and put the garlic cloves (smashed) in and shake some garlic salt, sesame oil, black pepper and white pepper.
Stir to finish, enjoy!
