Help yourself with this tutorial cooking instruction for today’s dinner Spaghetti Brussels Sprouts in less than 25 mins with prep.

The prep

Take ingredients: half pound of brussels sprouts, 1 pound of spaghetti, 9 – 15 (handful) sun dried tomatoes in olive oil (Bella Sun Luci), sweet chili sauce (Mae Ploy), sesame oil and spices: garlic salt, dills, black pepper (grind), white pepper (grind), bay leafs, and olive oil.

The cooking process, a chef walk through

Start by preheating a large pan (big enough to boil a pound of Spaghetti), filled little over half way with water turn on high and preheat another pan, high, for cooking brussels sprout, fill it up with water, 2/3 way. While wait, prepare the brussels sprouts by cutting bits off of the ends (stem cut off) and split it in half, wash it in a vegetable washing basin then rinse it couple times, following through by fishing out the sprouts then put them in the pan and close the lid.

Around this time, the boiling water in the pan should be ready, when ready, put in a bag full of spaghetti (one pound), initially stir it to loosen and cover with a lid, half way; caution for glass lid, to avoid glass breakage or explosion during cooking, DO NOT contact the glass part with any hot surface (metal to metal only while using the metal frame, holding the glass, when covering partially or using an unfitted lid). If in doubt, metal lid would be preferred.

Check the spaghetti, cook al dente, if you prefer then turn off the heat and drain the water or fish out the spaghetti which ever way you felt comfortable. Next place all the sauces and spices nearby then check the sprouts, when the water boils, fish out the sprouts and place them with the spaghetti.

Now, turn the heat back on (medium high), start by putting those sun dried tomatoes then all the sauces and spices then mix and stir until all the ingredients mixed evenly to finish.

Enjoy the time saved!
